Privacy Policy

Plain language, because that’s the whole point of this place.

Before this goes live: the highlighted items below need real business details filled in. They are marked so they cannot be missed.

Who runs this site

This site is operated by Randy A. Bridge and Grey Eagle Media Group, LLC, 531 Grant 831, Sheridan, Arkansas 72150, United States.

Questions about privacy can be sent to the email address on the contact page.

What we collect

When you join the email list

Your first name (optional) and your email address. That’s it. We ask for consent explicitly on the form and record that you gave it.

When you send an enquiry

Whatever you type into the form: name, email, organization, event details, and your message. Used to answer you, and nothing else.

Automatically

Standard web-server logs kept by our host, which typically include IP address, browser type, and pages requested. These are used for security and troubleshooting.

If an analytics tool is added later, this section must name it and say what it collects. At present the site loads no third-party analytics scripts.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell your information. Not to anyone, not ever.
  • We don’t rent or trade mailing lists.
  • We don’t run advertising trackers on this site.
  • We don’t email you things you didn’t ask for.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking cookies. It uses one piece of browser session storage to remember that you dismissed the announcement bar, so it doesn’t nag you on every page. That data never leaves your device and disappears when you close the browser.

Email and your choices

Every email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately. You can also reply and ask to be removed, and it will be done by hand.

Your name and email address are stored on our own web server, hosted by Hostinger. They are not shared with a third-party mailing-list company. Emails from this site (confirmations, replies) are sent through Google Workspace, which means Google processes the message in transit as our email provider.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to the contact address and it will be handled. If you are in the UK, EU, or a US state with its own privacy law, you have those rights regardless of where we are.

Children

This site isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Third parties

Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those files from Google and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Everything else on this site is served from our own host.

Links to retailers, social platforms, and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies. We don’t control those.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions go directly to the connected provider rather than being stored on this site.

Changes

If this policy changes meaningfully, the date at the top changes with it.
